When once I was willing to venture beyond the Prov-city borders (let alone state borders), I was known to frequent Quan's. The service here is (was) pretty exceptional. But allow me, if you would, to talk about something far more important - their scorpion bowls. Huge, inexpensive and prepared with crushed ice and lots of pineapple. After just a few sips you too will suffer from partial facial paralysis.

Love the sushi and spicy pork string beans. Sometimes service is not so good. Beef teriyaki is tender and flavorful. Seafood is always fresh!

Delivery takes a while, but its convenient to have delivery as an option. Food is always at least good, but never spectacular. They need to work on getting larger take out containers and get a better system to prevent leaking. Sauce ended up all over the floor in my office, simpley by removing the Styrofoam container out of the bag

Quan's Kitchen is pretty good these days. Many moons passed between sit-down meals there because one time around 2005 we were seated next to a table of cackling, unwashed hoi polloi, who made it hard to enjoy my squid. So for years I vowed not to go back until Quan's hired a bouncer. But the more-recent sit-down experience was nice, so we're buds once again. I really like Quan's for takeout. You don't get as many sheer pounds of food as you do at Dragon Garden, but the portions are solid and there's more tofu. Tofu is like dilithium for us vegetarians. I'm also more confident that the sauce is animal-free (although perhaps I should just ask some time). The food is always done on-time and the service is friendlier than it is elsewhere.

I love that Quan's delivers all the way to Wrentham. I hurt my back and I was dying for Chinese the other day. The food was good, not great...the General Tao's was more like Orange Chicken..it didn't have that gooey crust I was craving. They gave me free crab rangoon which was a nice surprise even though they kill my stomach, I still ate them because, what the heck- it was free! The delivery man was extremely nice. My Idaho maki was pretty gross. It was basically slabs of cold sweet potato in the middle. I didn't see much sign of tempura, which I have always had anywhere else. It tasted like someone just took it out of the fridge and threw it in the box. Portion size was good with the chicken and the lo mein, I managed to get 3 meals out of it. When I am in desperate need for chinese and can't go out I will probably order from here again.

I am very particular with my Asian cuisine. Years of passing by, many whom rave about the spot. I still continue to pass on. One day a fellow coworker whom I dearly look up stated you def must try. One hot summer New England evening, I sure was not going to cook, the family and I hop into the Vehicle, drove up to quan's kitchen. Upon our arrival greeted by the status of Buddha and furniture that's my uncle and aunts have in their home. I was first overwhelm with the magnificent dining room with white table cloth and napkins. It was the captial grill of Asian cuisine. Menu contains an array of Chinese and Japanese dishes. Bar area completely separate from the dining area. Speaking of bar, the cocktail menu is very extensive you will not be disappointed. Dishes we definitely have to recommend are Peking noodles and phantom gourmet award winning steak. Whole family had a good evening dining out. Don't hesitate just go and enjoy yourself. You will not be disappointed. Servers were all on point.

Always love Quan's. Great sushi, and service. If you decide to eat at the bar, say hello to Daniel the bartender. He'll make you the best stoli doli's!

Best Chinese food in the area. The food is always fresh. The restaurant is always clean. The staff is very pleasant. What keeps me coming back is there Mai Tais. They are always consistent no matter who is tending bar. Why is it that so many Chinese restaurants make inconsistent drinks. I have had good mai tais at other Chinese restaurants only to have a completely different mai tai ( that sucks ) at the same restaurant. I always know what I'm getting when I go to Quan's.

I love quan's kitchen! It's my husband's and my go-to delivery option. The prices are reasonable, delivery times are prompt (suffice to say sometimes they're downright quick), portions are great. We always end up having enough food for left overs. Haven't walked inside this location yet, but since it's less than 2 miles from home, I know I will soon!

I just placed an order to go for 1 sushi roll (5 pieces) and 6 pieces of sashimi to go. My order came to $32.95. Need I say more? This place is clearly a ripoff and I will not be back. After meal review: The flavor of the roll was similar to food court sushi unfortunately. I guess this place isn't good to order from to go... The smoked salmon was okay and the pieces of octopus were far too small.

Every time I come home from LA, my second stop (after Dunkins) is here! I have not found better Chinese food anywhere across the country! The scallion pancakes are to die for! The beef teriyaki strips, outstanding! Crab Rangoon, best ever! I could go through the whole menu! I love it all. If they could deliver to LA, I'd have it twice a week! Eric Quan is one of the nicest restaurant owners I've ever known. What a fantastic place!

This review is for the lounge only, as i haven't had a chance to eat any of their food yet. The lounge is very nice, with good drinks at reasonable prices. The bartender we had last night was friendly and had a good sense of humor. He fixed us up some tasty cocktails, including their Cape Cod margarita for myself and a fruity Polynesian drink for my friend. I've had their scorpion bowl before which was a bit fruity for my taste (as most Polynesian cocktails are) but not bad. The prices for mixed drinks range from around six fifty to ten dollars. I am not sure if i would ever come for the food because I don't eat a lot of Chinese but I would certainly come again for a drink. I attend movies next door quite frequently and it is a nice place to stop for an inexpensive drink before hand.

I ordered delivery today they changed me for chicken rice soup and I didn't get any when I called back off corse closed no answer besides that the food was cold and not good I am very disappointed for the first and last time I order from them my order was $ 60 for my family none off them was happy about the food

We ordered take-out from here last on Friday and the food was not very good compared to when we used the take-out before. The food was delivered on time but the fried calamari was rubbery, and the boneless spare ribs were very greasy. Not the quality we expected for sure.

Easily the best Chinese Food in Area! A group went here to celebrate a special occasion for some friends. We each picked a dish and ordered a lot more than we actually needed. Everything from the General Gai's, Chicken Lo Men, Beef with Broccoli, Orange Beef, Chicken with Cashews, etc. Everything was cooked perfectly. The food was very reasonably priced and this includes the drinks we ordered from the bar. When in the area I will return as this maybe the best Chinese food I have eaten in a very long time. Value - Great Service - Great Taste - Great Quality - Excellent Service - Great

Our favorite Chinese, never disappointed. Eat here either take out or dine in once a month or so. Portions are generous, food is well prepared. Very nice restaurant and great service.

I have to say I love the spicy crab roll. I have never been disappointed with there sushi. I haven't ordered anything other than sushi so I can't judge it. Sometimes there is a long wait but I would rather wait a little bit longer food better food.

I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here! I love it! ONLY thing I'd say is.. Dining room is too big - bar is wayyyy too small! The food is delicious here! I recommend the marinated green beans, sushi, crab ragoons.. Actually no.. Just get a little bit of everything!

I've been to Quan's many times in the past, and it seems their food has declined from what I remember. It's not horrible by all means, it's just OK. Tonight we where driving by when hunger struck. We decided to order some take out. There was no wait, and our server was helpful and suggestive. I ordered the chicken wonton soup. The soup had great flavor, but the wontons were way to soggy...like they had sat in the broth all day...no bueno. We also had the crab rangoons, which tasted like crabby cream cheese with relish...weird...and gross. The hubby ordered the General Gao's combination plate. It had just the right amount of sauce, but again, basic in flavor..nothing exceptional. As a bonus, we received a free order of scallion pancakes, and they had to be the best thing that came in our bag..crispy, cooked just right, and with a gingery soy sauce. Overall, will we return? Probably...just to give it a second try, but only if in the area.

I have to say this place really surprised me. I have never been here but i am so glad my boyfriend took me here. The outside of this place made me think it was just another typical asian restaurant, by typical i mean nothing fancy, sort of like the buffets are set up to be. Anyway as soon as i walked in i fell in love with the statues and decorations, the lighting just put everything together for me. The wait wasn't even long (2 seconds at most) and when we were seated the inside of the restaurant looked very spacious. The table was covered in a nice white cloth, the condiments were full and well kept, the seats were comfortable as well. The drinks we ordered were delicious! We also ordered sushi and it wasn't so long of a wait to be honest. It didn't bother me since the sushi we got was remarkable! The boat was decorated beautifully, it was the first boat i had and i am glad it was here! I highly recommend going here!

Yes it is more pricey than a standard Chinese food restaurant but the quality of food, atmosphere and service makes it worth it. Great first time experience I will definitely be back.

Stopped in again for take-out on a rainy cold day and the food was much better. Had chicken pad thai - which was not very well prepared. Noodles were broken and clumped together - seems like the chef doesn't know how to prepare or tossed the noodles too long. Tasted okay, but was disappointing. Special Beef dish, which was tasty - slices of beef in a brown sauce with onions and peppers. Beef chow fun, which was pretty good and nice chunks of beef. Last was a tofu with pea pods and mushrooms - tofu was a little to soft for my taste, but it was ok. Gave us a free order of crab rangoon, which the kids like. Improvement since the last time we stopped here, but they need to improve in the kitchen.

I've been to Quans Many times. Great sushi, and authentic Chinese dishes. I enjoy all of their menu which I like to jump around with food and try new things but my all time favorite is the ginger and scallion beef and chef special roll. That's all I'm going to say. I love Quans:) Food quality 5 Service 4.5 Atmosphere 5

Came here for dinner with some friends and was pleasantly surprised with the food. With Chinese food you usually end up eating something mediocre or just flat out nasty. In this case the food was actually pretty good. It's also a very nice restaurant with plenty of seating. I had an order or spring rolls for appetizer which were pretty good. Spring rolls can typically be an easy strikeout if they're over fried or doughy, these were neither. Very lightly fried, fresh and served hot. I also had an order of general tso's chicken which is can also easily be a nightmare if cooked wrong. These were actually better than most places I've had it from. Not overly breaded and the chicken quality was good. Not the best I've had by any stretch, but it was enjoyable. Service was lighting fast which is always a plus when you're starving. I'd definitely come back if in the area.

Ordered a carry out of beef with mixed vegetable, a side of brown rice, and a california maki roll. I liked everything. The guy on the phone was friendly and efficient as was the girl at the desk when I arrived. The inside of the place is nice. They deliver to all of Cumberland, which is very rare so that is impressive. The only minor negatives are they do not give you any rice at all with the regular menu items but they do give you a large dinner roll. huh?? I've never in my life had a chinese dinner that did not come with white rice and what is the bread for?

  • Vincent T.

Quans is probably the best Chinese food in the Area. Food always comes out fresh, and they have a nice selection of sushi. The restaurant itself is decorated very nicely and service is pretty good. It's a nice enough place that you'd feel good about taking a special night out there. The downside versus other Chinese in the area is the price. All dishes are a couple dollars more than most other places in the area. Also, there are no "dinner combo plates" so you'll need to figure out things that everyone likes, or you'll end up over-ordering. Just things to keep in mind. But overall, the quality of the food and the atmosphere make Quans a step above your typical Chinese food place in the area.

  • Whitley M.

pretty tastey beef teriyaki sticks and General Chau chicken was well made. I was dissappointed that the entree does not come with rice and there were no chopsticks or napkins in the delivery bag.

Honestly, does it get any better then this restaurant for Asian cuisine? I always sit in the bar area and the bartender Daniel is great. Great service and great food at reasonable prices for the quality. It costs about 10%-20% more than your average Chinese restaurant, but totally worth it. I've been there a bunch of times, but this last one we tried a few different sushi items and as usual they were great. The best item on their menu is the barbecue spare ribs ON THE BONE. A must have!!! Perfect meal there, BBQ spareribs, spicy tuna roll, and a Zombie to drink. Enjoy, you can't lose at this place.

The food is decent and the ambience is good. My only issue is the hospitality of the servers. My sever was not at all friendly. Did not greet us nor did make us feel comfortable. The attitude felt rude and not professional.

Delicious chinese food and sushi. The prices are reasonable and portions are large. Food is always always fresh. I recommend: - Appetizers: crab rangoon, peking ravioli, spare ribs, lettuce wraps, fried shrimp, wanton soup, hot & sour soup. - Main Meal: lemon chicken, house rice / noodles, any chicken/beef/seafood dishes! - Sushi: philidelphia maki, california roll, tempura ones too Everything here is delicious, so no matter what you get it will be great. Highly recommend.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED CHRISTMAS EVE WITH A LIMITED MENU. The heck? I've been coming here every year for Xmas eve and they always had the full menu. Nope, not in 2013! Also, NO DESSERT MENU ON XMAS EVE. really? If you want to run a fast food Chinese food operation, geez, just put a sign on the door and I would have just gone to the food court at the mall. I come here for the FULL MENU.. like um, Mongolian shrimp! NOPE, couldn't get that on Xmas eve. lame.

Took my mom gets today for lunch today. Not impressed at all. Moms chicken wings were undercooked, the rice was bland and lastly my crab Rangoon just tasted weird with all the other stuff they put in it. Everything else was ok but for 23 dollars for 2 lunch specials and 2 sodas, not worth it!

Love quans!! This is mine and my fiancé's go to Chinese place! They have the best lo mein I've ever had! Their wait for delivery is almost always 45-60 minutes, which is annoying, so we usually pick up. That's definitely a downside, but their food is really good, so we deal! My fiancé loves their Peking ravioli, and they have very tasty crunchy wontons. Their crab Rangoon aren't my favorite... They're really cream-cheese-y. Egg drop soup is great, and they have an egg drop/ wonton soup that's really great too! Pricing can be a little high.. But we only get it every once in a while, so it's doable.

Very very bland food. Everything we ordered, from the sesame chicken, pork lo mein, crab Rangoon s and the house rice lacked flavor. If you closed your eyes it all tasted the same. I would stay far away from here in the future, unless you don't have taste buds.

  • Allison M.

Meh, Quan's is overrated and expensive. Their sushi is good, but most everything else is forgettable... I've experienced mushy chicken, bland rice, and am never really satisfied. Try Shogun instead - it's only a little ways down the road.

I used to order take out from Quan's a lot on my way home from work. Not anymore. One weekend, I decided to call and see if they delivered to my area of Attleboro. The girl who answered the phone said yes and assured me delivery time was about 30 min. She also quoted me a price of $26 and change. I waited 50 min., no food. So I called back. I got the same girl on the phone who basically dismissed me and said the driver had gotten lost, but was now only a few minutes away. I hung up thinking my food would be arriving momentairily. I was wrong. Another 30 min went by before the doorbell rang. When my boyfriend answered the door, he was told the total was now over $33! I went to the door and explained that was not the price I was given over the phone, and besides, they were almost an hour late! The delivery boy just shrugged his shoulders and repeated the price. At this point I realized that our food, some of which was pork, had been possible travelling around in a car for well over an hour and I definitely didn't want to risk eating it. I advised the driver to take the food back and that I would be calling the restaurant to let them know I had refused the delivery. When I called the restaurant for the third time, I got the same girl on the phone again, and was placed on hold for several minutes. When she finally came back and I explained the situation and my frustration, she only replied, "So you refused delivery?" there was no apology, and in fact she seemed miffed that we wouldn't accept food that had been riding around in a car for almost an hour and a half. By this time I was fed up and told her we wouldn't be ordering take out again and hung up. Not worth the hassel. We went to Five Guys Burgers instead and got our food in minutes. Quans was NOT worth it on this night.

  • Marty M.

By far the best American Chinese restaurant in the area. I also like the hot oil they provide. Only one bad experience over the last year and that was the delivery time. I only live 2 miles away and they were short a driver and didn't deliver within an hour. I called and canceled my order because I had to leave the house.

    (4)
  • Raul O.

So,...order placed. 30 minute delivery time communicated. 1 hour and 20 minutes later I call Quan's to find out where the hell the order is....after 5 minutes on hold they tell me I can get a credit on my order for another night..? What?... The manager Devon get's on the line after a call back and additional wait to inform me the driver is close if I still want the food I can have it..... So.... I can have the seafood that's been riding shot gun for an hour while your driver fumbles with his Haggstroms.... Nah I'm all set. Challenge is with Amex as they already processed the charge and now I need to hawk the card to ensure they put my funds back. Hungry,..and pissed with a house full of people just like me. I spent years delivering Chinese food, and fully understand Friday night can get away from you especially if you have a house or two that's hard to find. The 1 star is fully earned by an inept manager who only managed to make an bad situation worse by acting like a dick. Oh...BTW last month when I opened my "free" egg rolls there was a live cockroach in the bag. Going here to drink is a great call, Daniel is a good guy. Ordering takeout is a crap shoot. Buyer beware.

It was my first time ordering from Quan's and the food was so good. I couldn't believe how tender the boneless ribs were and the rice was the best we ever had. We will be ordering from Quan's for some time to come. Keep up the great work, folks-you're the best!!!

Went here today with my boyfriend for a late lunch. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, vegetable chow mein, spring rolls, and non alcoholic strawberry daiquiris. It was all very good. Nothing was greasy at all, which is just the way I like chinese food. I don't like to feel like a grease pit after eating a meal. Our waitress was really friendly, and the dining area is a pretty comfortable atmosphere. My only problem with this place is that its a half an hour from my house!

Been going to this location for the past 8 years and sad to say it has been going downhill recently. Never had any issues with delivery but as for dining in the last two times were horrible. About 6 months ago we go in with friends and when we went to pay we told him to pay down with cash (20 dollars) and the rest on the card. He thought the 20 was his tip even though he repeated that the 20 was to pay down the bill. I'm sorry but a 20 tip on a 50 tab? Um no. Tonight we go in at 8:55 (How do I know? I checked to see that they would be open at least an hour later than we got there. I used to wait tables so I feel bad if its close to closing.) We are greeted immediately and sat at a table along with another couple with a child. The other couple was in another section and had a different server who immediately got them drinks and got them food. Meanwhile nothing from our server. After 15 minutes we left. I used to love this place. Not so much anymore......

Great sushi but there is better places for actual Chinese food in the area. I will say the egg drop wonton soup is excellent. House of fortune or Dragon GArden is better.

  • Jessie C.

Honesty is the best policy - so I'll preface this with I really don't like Chinese food in general. I usually only order 2-3 things - mooshi chicken, scallion pancakes and chicken and crab rangoons. With that said - this stuff was pretty good. I didn't feel like crap when we left. I ordered miso soup and mooshi chicken. The chicken bits were HUGE. Kinda weird but it worked. BUT... and this was a HUGE HUGE turnoff - the sushi guys were staring at us eat the ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE. I'd get takeout from here again but I'll never eat in the restaurant. The staring Sushi men were just plain unsettling.

The food is good. A little over priced and over rated but it's good. The sushi is average but the traditional Chinese food is always good and consistent. For the best experience here see Danny the bartender. One of the best around.

  • Blair A.

Cleanest kitchen around. I constantly order sushi to go. Always fresh. Best service. We usually order dinner combos and when you spend $30 usually get a freebie. The women at the front desk are always so nice. We never have to wait to long for a table or when we order out.

I didn't like anything about this place. Blast you Phantom Gourmet for pointing me in the direction of this very average Asian restaurant! If you're used to fast food Chinese then perhaps this place is a treat, but the fancy decor didn't make up for the mediocre food in my case. Hot & Sour soup was way too dark and earthy for my taste. Way too much soy sauce and not very spicy at all. Chicken lo mein was ok but very average. The noodles were a bit overcooked and soggy. Sweet and sour chicken was very crispy but they went a little easy on the sauce, so it was like getting an order of chicken fingers with a side of light pink some-think-or-other drizzled on top. Sauce was also a whole lot of sweet and no sour. Where the peppers at? Service was fast (too fast) I didn't even get two bites of my soup before the entree came. Good news, the portions are huge and can be split by two people. Oh and when you're done they'll hand you a scalding hot handy wipe to singe the greasy food off your hands. Sorry Quan, you're kitchen didn't cut it for me.

  • C-pher M.

The food is very good...but the problem is no matter what I tell them...after I eat there I get the biggest raging headache I've ever had. But because of that...I can not eat there. I've tried many times, and every time the same thing. Which is a shame, as people love this place. And like I said above, the food is good...it's what they put in the food to make it so tasty that's giving me the headaches.

We have always enjoyed Quans. We had a nice lunch there yesterday. Service was excellent. Nice martini for me and chardonnay for my wife. For lunch I had a sushi spicy tuna roll followed by an L11 lunch. My wife had szechuan chicken. She had enough left over that she had it again today at home. When we want Chinese food we always think of Quan's.

Order Quan's Kitchen for delivery this weekend. We ordered the 'Pu Pu Platter for 2' for $20. We were told delivery would take 30-40 minutes, but the food showed up within 15 minutes easily. Very fast delivery. There was definitely more than enough food for two people and this ended up lasting about 3 meals. The teriyaki chicken/beef were good, along with the chicken fingers, wings, and fried shrimp. The crab rangoons and boneless spareribs were above average, but the egg rolls were gross. I think it was the inclusion of celery in heavy quantities which ruined both the consistency and taste expected from an eggroll. Good food (for the most part) and fast delivery, but it wasn't amazing to the point of making it our only Chinese place to get deliveries from.

  • Meaghan K.

Oh, Quan's I've had great meals here and many many Mai Tais which are the best. I've had Mai Tai's elsewhere but I've yet to find one as good as Quan's. The service is impeccable and the menu is massive. The decor is also nice and it is always super clean. Even the bartender and the servers are super clean when they serve you or make a drink. I think it's time for me to go back!

I have to quote yelp... Meh. I've experienced better.... Over all it is generic Chinese food. By the time it was delivered it was mostly cold. The food was eh and felt like tons of MSG.... I still have to say Asia Grill Still is better then this one....

If you like "Americanized" Asian cuisine - you will give this plce 5 stars. If you like authentic Asian cuisine, this is not THAT place. For your standard American-Asian fare - it's better than your typical place. The decor is nice, the wait-staff are friendly - and you can tell that the owners care about keeping up their image and quality. If you want something resembling authentic Chinese (or Japanese sushi) - then you won't like this place, at all. My friends in the area like that they deliver. I live too far away, so I can't speak to this. I give it 3 stars, primarily because if you rate it against soley standard restaurants - it is one of the better.... but it's not a place that cooks or styles their food using any of the many Asian culinary arts....

We went to Quan's for sushi and I wish now I would have tried something else. Started off with crab rangoon appetizer that was pretty tasty but the sushi lacked flavor. I even asked the waiter what the specialty roll was which was the most bland out of them all. It seemed way over priced for sushi that lacked creativity and flavor. I tried the Boston Maki, Spicy Salmon Maki and the Quan's Special... None of which I would recommend. The best tasting roll was the Philly Maki my boyfriend ordered. Our friend ordered a beef and vegetable dish that smelled amazing and seemed the way to go. If we visit this place again I definitely won't be ordering any sushi.

Love it! not the same old nasty take out Chinese food. dinner plates are enough to keep you full for two days. The dining room and bar area are nice. Its beautiful in there. Prices are fair. Drinks are great (mai tai is strong but good enough to still drink). General Gau's is delicious, sweet and spicy. PooPoo platter is huge. Our last waiter made a comment that we obviously liked the food cause it was all gone. Even with that said, would choose this place over any other in the area.

Nice, fresh sushi, good Chinese food, generous portions... everything is clean and the wait staff is great about offering suggestions on new sushi rolls!

My GF and I absolutely love Quan's. I have been here multiple times and it never disappoints.. Last night included.. We arrived at about 6:30 PM and we were promptly greeted and seated. Our waiter was to our table within a minute and was extremely friendly.. Our drinks were to the table very quickly as we looked over the menu.. I asked if we could have some rolls, within a minute some nice warm rolls were on our table.. Now, their website advertised some dinner special combinations that are not on their menu (this is my only complaint).. When I asked, the waiter was very polite, he said they can do any of their lunch combinations, in bigger portions, and they are slightly more money.. This confused me.. However, I ordered one of the combinations (chicken wings, Chicken Fingers, pork fried rice, beef terriaki).. The GF ordered the vegetable sushi.. While we waited I was looking around and it seems as if it may have recently been painted, the decor is very nice, very nice atmosphere.. Our food was to the table very quickly 94 chicken fingers, 3 chicken wings, two beef terriaki and a mound of pork fried rice for $12.00 pretty good!).. My food was super hot and everything was delicious, cooked perfectly.. Chicken fingers, albeit offered everywhere, when not cooked correctly can be dreadful, these were beautiful. The rice was just fantastic, not sticky, pork cooked nicely (was a little bit of pork fat in the rice) but very good.. Chicken wings were super hot, and again cooked very nicely and the beef terriaki basically fell off the bone.. My GF really enjoyed her vegetable sushi.. Very fresh.. Our glasses were never empty, our waiter asked a couple of times how everything was, and as soon as you were finished the plates were out of your way.. His name is "Joey" but I have a sneaky suspicion that is not his real name :) However, Joey was excellent, efficient, friendly, and really made the experience excellent.. Will be back as soon as I can.. Highly recommend.. Below based on five stars SERVICE ***** FOOD **** ATMOSPHERE **** LOCATION **** REST ROOMS **** PRICE **** OVERALL ****

I wanted to really like this place with all the hype I was getting before I moved into the area. I first did takeout of general tso's chicken (pretty standard Chinese dish) and I was not impressed. Very bland and that dish is normally suppose to be the least bland out of all of them. I gave it a second shot with my boyfriend and we dined in. The decor and staff were night and it looked hopeful since the place was packed. This time we tried the sushi and again weren't thoroughly impressed. The only thing that I did enjoy were the drinks. The Mai Tai was great, minus the crushed ice they used in all their drinks. Who uses crushed ice, except in sodas?! Maybe sometime we'll give it a third shot....

Yummy drinks and quality food! One of the best chinese food places I've ever been to.

Yuck! Terrible takeout tonight! It was shocking in its awfulness. The food tasted awful across the board: old rice, overcooked pork, over spiced sauces. It's never ever this bad at Quan's. Is the regular chef on vacation or something?

It used to be great. They used to deliver on time. The food that should be cooked was. Not anymore. Waited 2 hours for delivery. Got cold & raw food. Got an attitude when I asked for a credit. Won't be going back.

I love Quans! They are fast at delivery and have amazing combo dinners. I have a busy schedule so I call for take-out often. I love: lo mein, egg foo young, fried rice, chicken fingers, beef teriyaki, string beans, lobster sauce, chicken chow mein, chicken teriyaki, beef and mushroom, egg drop soup. Yeah I pretty much like the menu! The prices are reasonable and portions are perfect! The staff is wonderful and prides themselves on accuracy and professionalism!

I don't know why some are rating Quan's so low, it's easily the best Chinese I've had outside of Chinatown in NYC. You aren't going to find the standard 'american' chinese if you eat in. You'll find some interesting dishes that are familiar yet unique. Sushi is top notch and fresh. I have to admit, I live near by and the prospect of home delivery makes Quan's a dangerous neighbor!

This is THE best Chinese food restaurant and every dish is high quality with fresh and always hot food. It really is amazing what a difference fresh ingredients and expertly prepared food makes to a meal. If you live in the area and are looking for a Chinese-food fix then Quan's is your place. General Gau's chicken, the lo mein, and any of the vegetable dishes are highly recommended. The portions are large and the food is full of flavor, yet is not too spicy or salty. If you're in the mood to dine-in then the restaurant is a large step up from what you would normally expect from a Chinese restaurant. It is clean, well decorated, and the service is fast. Minor complaint, you cannot order any combination dish when you dine-in. Not uncommon for Chinese food restaurants, but it means that if there is just two of you dining then you are either are limited in the variety you can order or you end-up with a large amount of food leftover. This unfortunately costs more but gives you meals for the next two days. Not necessary a bad thing. 5 out of 5 stars. The best place for Chinese food.

I love the food here, but the Chinese drinks are a little weak which is usually not the case. Fruit juice and pretty garnishes are the norm. Still, the food is high quality and always hot and fresh. Sushi is excellent and the staff is very good.

Everytime feels like the first time! Daniel, the amazing bartender, greets me with a smile, remembers my first name, and always invites me to have one of his refreshing Mai-tais. The food is without a doubt the best tasting, freshest, and non greasy, Asian cuisine!! The sushi is out of this world and you can see the highest standards of cleanliness just by hanging out at the sushi bar and watching them work their magic! I enjoy the bar atmosphere, but there is plenty of room in the dinning room for larger parties and familys. The prices are standard for the area. Delivery is always fast and the food is still piping hot!

This rating relates entirely to the service received during a phone call. I walked in and ordered then waited to take it home. When I got home there were no condiments, sauces, chopsticks, etc. when I called to inform them I was told they could send a driver and it would take 20 - 25 minutes. I told them by the time it got there the food would be cold - the there was no effort to expedite the situation or make it right. I realize mistakes happen but there was there was a reluctance to acknowledge or remediate. An editorial comment - the $$ rating is generous.

The 2 Stars given, is for the atmosphere. The food was terrible, and not very wallet friendly. The diet coke I ordered even had a watered down taste. We ordered the Sesame Chicken, Chicken fried rice, and the Peking Dumplings. Let's start off with the Sesame Chicken. It smelled wonderful, but I quickly learned that the aromas were very deceiving. The chicken, presented itself very well, again deceiving. It was bland, rubbery, undercooked. Moving on to the Chicken fried rice. Bland, bland bland! I love fried rice, but it was very disappointing. Last but not least, the dumplings. They were OK, but nothing to brag about. I've tasted better at UMI's. All in all, I couldn't recommend this resturant unless you don't value your dollar.

4 of us went here a couple weeks ago for the first time and had a surprisingly good meal. I got the kung pao tofu and spring rolls, both were very good. Everyone else got meat dishes and they were happy with theirs as well. If I am ever in N Attleboro again I will definitely give this place another try.

Agree with others the food is fresh and high quality. Service is attentive and professional. Dining room has a pleasing decor and the bar has an awesome etched glass panorama of Shanghai and a wood paneled ceiling, real nice! I usually get sushi and find it's top notch. Anyone who doesn't like this place doesn't really like this kind of food, it's one of the better asian's out there.

I've been here 20-30 times dine in and take-out and the food has always been top notch. The menu isn't mind-blowing, but they do all the basic Asian dishes very well. The sushi here is fantastic and they have seating in front of the sushi chef so you can watch him work (he also is willing to give suggestions and samples while you're deciding or waiting for your order). Many people, me included, swear by their Crab Rangoon, because it actually contains crabmeat and isn't greasy or overly-filling (which I don't like in appetizers). The impressive thing is that none of their fried dishes have ever been greasy or gunked up with too much batter like most cheapo Chinese takeout places. The one complaint I'd have is that sometimes their dishes are a bit on the small side...but I think that mostly comes from years of crappy Chinese food piled high on platters. There was one instance where the waiter was clearly new and didn't do a great job, but other than that one time (out of many experiences), I've been treated very well by the staff. The dining room is very classy, but the from the outside you'd think this was just any old regular Chinese take-out (except for the always-near-full parking lot). I seriously can't fathom why there are several low ratings for this place (I suspect some people just enjoy being critical for no good reason). The only better Chinese food I've ever had has been in SF Chinatown...this beats any of the places I've been to in Boston by far (for Chinese food...not the other Asian food on the menu). The popularity of this place speaks for itself...it's city-quality Chinese food in the 'burbs.

I've only eaten here twice and it was fantastic. Service, appearance and food were excellent. That said I get delivery from here at least a couple of time a month. Every time it's here quick (usually in 25 - 30 minutes) and the order is always right. This is my favorite asian restaurant in the area as far as take-out is concerned. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We have regularly dined at Quans Kitchen in N. Attleboro and praised the service, the food, the value and recommended it to several. Tonight must have been an off night or new management that doesn't have customer service as a priority. We walked in for dinner, looking forward to a nice meal and asked if we would like to sit in the Bar. We were seated and told a waiter would be right with us. 7 - 10 minutes later no one came to the table. A few minutes later a group of 4 men walked in and immediately a waiter appears to serve the table of 4. Enough of being ignored, we left and on the way out we mentioned it to the employees whom did not seemed concerned. No reason fo us to go back. It is a shame because we once told many how good it was. Mo more. Scott O. Cumberland, Ri.

My dad and I had a craving for chinese food. I went on Yelp.com to check out some nearby chinese eateries for us. Saw that Quan's Kitchen had really great reviews so I told my dad to go to Quan's. We ended up having to take out, ordered the wonton soup, fried calamari, chicken chow mein, and a "large vegetable rolls" (these rolls are large in size not in quantity). The wonton soup smelled gross so that ruined my appetite already, the chicken chow mein isn't typical, it was pale and had no color so I didn't dare try to eat it. However, the fried calamari was ok. I would never go back here for chinese food, but it doesn't matter all that much because I live in California. I'll give Quan's Kitchen this: GREAT DINING ROOM. I mean this place was classy and nice. But food.... not so much.

A good night out. The food is very Americanized (I go to Boston for Dim Sum and true Chinese food). But I have to say, Quan's is a really nice place. It's beautifully designed inside and has good food and prices. Great place for a date.

Quan's Kitchen is upper end Chinese food. I've eaten in the dining room once and was impressed, it's strikingly well done. Their take-out is prompt and their delivery driver always arrives quickly. It's slightly pricier than alternatives but the difference in absolutely wonderful. I simply don't bother with other Chinese restaurants. Quan's Kitchen was reviewed by The Phantom Gourmet and received 'Great 8' status.

Been here 20+ times and is one of my favorites places to get chinese and sushi. Great atmosphere and great food. Love the sushi - love the decor - nice to have all booths - ALWAYS greeted by a friendly host. Only negative - I will agree with another reviewer that the food does come out very quickly (which isnt always such a bad thing)

I love Quans... takeout. It's a different dining experience in the restaurant vs takeout. The takeout portions are much more generous than their restaurant portions. If you eat in the dining room, there are no combos so you spend more money to get the same variety of dishes that you get in a takeout combo. Their food is great. It's very high quality. I particularly love their pork fried rice and their bonless spare ribs. I'm not a sushi person, so my review does not speak to that, but I have heard from others that it's terrific as well. We like Quans, but takeout is the way to go there.

ok, this is the straight deal, i gotta get out of dodge be4 the t or treaters come and freakout the dog, so here we go. ok, i had an urge for some awesome wonton soup, and let me yelp you all, if it stopped there, this would have been 5 stars, but it wasnt.... so we got there at 9pm, we had some other plans first in cumberland, but as we were just a throw away, we came a calling. mermer wanted some curry (ew) but hey, she likes it. so up to the desk we went and order a spring roll, veggie curry with most of the present veggies negated, an egg roll and some of the bomb wonton soup. 24 bucks. yup, not cheap swill by any means. no noodles either, minus one star. so the spring roll was obv very hot and she wanted to eat it in the lobby be4 getting in the car, that makes sense, however, i didnt want to eat it in their lobby as they were probably curing in chinese at us for doing so. well i tipped them on a to go order, so they can deal. i ate my egg roll oh, about at gillete on the way back up, it was cold and really not all that good, still better then golden temple, but this isnt about them. we got home and wifey went right for the curry to find out they didnt give her any rice for her 11 dollar curry, double boo and minus a star, minus two actually cause you angered the wifey gods. so where are we. yes two stars. well as you can see its three stars and thats only cause 1) im writing this not wifey and 2) oh boy the best roast pork wonton soup with yummie roasted pork, soft and tasty wontons and not too salty soup itself. (plus a star) thus leaving us at 3. ummmmmmm for me, grrrrrrrrrr for her. (double grrrr)

Quan's is a notch or two above standard Chinese food in the area. More than your typical Americanized Chinese, but not quite PF Chang's (although probably a bit more affordable). The restaurant itself is quite nice, the food is obviously fresh, and really well done. The secret, to me, about Quan's is their delivery. It is always as hot and fresh as when you eat at the restaurant. They're generous with their portions, and somehow it almost tastes better at home. I LOVE their D7combo. It's enough food for under $15 (delivered) for my wife and I. I'm a huge Quan's fan and I think it is probably the best Chinese in the area.

Fabulous food! Great waiter. Wonton soup with chicken was tastey as were the chicken wings. Had a dish called Marco Polo that contained beef, shrimp, veggies and pork lo mein noodles. EXCELLENT every time that I have eaten here. Keep up the good work. They have the best selection of Chinese food and sushi in town.

Im actually really surprised by the last two reviews. We love quans and honestly it is the only QUALITY chinese place around. Im extremely picky about the quality of food and meat at places I eat and Quans honestly has the freshest ingredients by far. We always start off with the chicken fingers which always come out hot and delicious. My boyfriend then moves on to the sushi which is fresh as can be. Then our go-to favorite is the Hunan Chicken with some white rice. DELISH! The owners are super nice and the waitstaff is always helpful and polite. This place is always busy...which tells you something right there. They have an army of delivery people just to keep up with the takeout orders. However, I do recommend coming and eating there. I just dont care for getting take out from there, it tastes SO much better when its served right away and piping hot!

The food is GREAT! I love going there for sushi as well. On the chinese food side, the Quan's Steak is SOOOO good! The only complaint is that it is always VERY cold in the dining area.

The BEST in our area. Take out is slightly different than dine in as far as the type of cooking. The take out is more typical fast food chinese, but the dine in is suberb and can't be beat. Sushi is awesome too. The service is unparrelled in the area.

Great Americanized Chinese cuisine (..the best part --not greasy) in a Contemporary atmosphere...w/ lush Rosewood tones and intruiging statues alongside a blend of old and new Chinese artwork. Quans also serves some excellent Sushi with plently of choices in alacarte and plates..of traditional japanese and americanized.... A loud and proud bar with surrounding plasmas...serving unique drinks like the Suffering Bastard !! I recommend the Chicken Satay, Veg fried Rice and Kung Pao Shrimp!!!

Quans Kitchen. Am-Chi food at it's dullest. I can throw a rock from my house and hit it. When the wind is just right I can smell it. MMMMM........... One day, My wife and I went to eat there. NFG!!!!! the food was warm, not hot. The Pu pu Platter was weak and un appealing. It was just bland. It fell short on everything. The inside is clean, neat and the staff work very hard to maintain the cleanliness. They wait staff is very friendly. To me Quan's kitchen is just a vision of someone who wanted to serve "upscale Chinese food but had a limited budget. I cannot say "NO!!! DON'T!!!!! SKULL AND CROSSBONES!!!" But I surely can say that if you want decent Chi food for a good price Here is not the place to go You and your wallet will be disappointed. Smells wonderful though.

After weeks of nursing a mad craving for szechuan shrimp and being bitterly disappointed with numerous establishments in southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Quan's kitchen finally delivered. Their szechuan comes with just the right amount of sauce, a bright and colorful array of fresh vegetables and a generous quantity of shrimp that's cooked just right. It truly hits the spot. The service is excellent and restaurant is spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

After a long day of shopping, we were lost in Southeastern Mass. starving and desperate (it was 9:45ish) and we were contemplating going into Boston to try and make it to Fugakyu when we stumbled upon Quan's Kitchen. There were alot of cars so instinctively, the place perked our interest and sushi was what we had in mind, but my friend didn't like the "look" of the sign. It was maroon with red lettering...not the most attractive sign. However, the interior upon entering was nothing like what the sign would suggest. Rich oak, marble reception table, large stone buddha's and a great lively ambiance. The sushi bar was about to close so we quickly ordered. The sashimi appetizer (slices of white fish, tuna, and salmon atop a bed of seaweed salad) was adorably served in a martini glass and the fish was arranged to look like flowers sitting on top a garden of seaweed. The seaweed was a tad too salty but the presentation and the remarkable freshness of the sushi made up for it. My friend ordered the spicy salmon roll and salmon nigiri. He kept urging me to try the spicy salmon roll because apparently, it was just perfect. I didn't try it because my hands were full with the futomaki, striped bass nigiri, and the squid nigiri. The squid nigiri was so perky and fresh and had that lovely chewy texture. The striped bass had a slightly "wild game" taste like how venison tastes in comparison to beef. I had never tried it before and liked how different it was. The futomaki was amazing and I couldn't stop stuffing my mouth until it was all gone. The flavors of the egg, daikon, crab, and cucumber complemented each other so well that I really enjoyed each piece of the maki. Presentation of the sushi was pretty standard, arranged on a large platter. Lastly, we had a large platter of Kiji steak which was strips of steak piled high with snow peas, water chestnuts, carrots, broccoli, and bok choy in a brown garlic sauce. I only ate the vegetables because I was so full and I was so impressed. The vegetables weren't overcooked and had a nice, light flavor. The steak looked pretty fatty but my friend assured me that it was delicious. The waitress was so cute and spoke very good English. She was attentive and prompt even when we were the very last customers to leave. The manager shouted out a boisterous "Thanks! Have a nice night!" as we stepped out the door leaving us with a wonderful feeling of satisfaction of having found a place with both great service, wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. FYI: Erik Quan always loved to study physics and chemistry. That love may have developed an incredible cooking style and breakthrough that took years to perfect. The process uses special below zero freezers and water. In Quan's Kitchen you'll find an extremely cold freezer and a special high speed water mixer. With the mixer, Erik is able to add water into the meats prior to freezing for 7 days. The secret: they have a special treatment process that uses frozen water molecules to break down meat fiber. The result: tender and flavorful meats, food that looks good even when cold. The cooking process is healthy, natural and good.

I'm starting this place with 4 stars...dropped a star for mediocre delivery service. It always seems that you get better service and food if you dine in. Several occasions had their sushi and salad delivered...smaller portions and still the same price. A bit on the high end. What makes this place stand out from the rest in the area....cleanliness!! They're kitchen is encased in glass so you can see them cooking. It's a showpiece b/c many chinese kitchens are dirty and you always wonder if they pick it up off the floor sometimes. The good old 4 sec rule.

Quan's kitchen, my old friend. Our love affair started in Mansfield in their take-out or eat-in restaurant. You know the type of place. Little tables, plastic forks, but very clean and calm. I fell in love with your food and people so much that we became on a first name basis. Julie, Eric, Kevin... and Kevin's sister. I'm sorry, I forgot your name. Since Eric branched out to open the North Attleboro location, I try to visit for a meal a few times a year. Still, whenever I come in, Eric pops out from the kitchen to shake my hand and meet whatever friends I am with. The decor is beautiful. It is modern and classic without being the kitschy Chinese restaurant cliche. Be sure to visit the restrooms, because they are one of the best parts of the experience. You won't be disappointed. The food is pretty much what you might expect from a New England semi-upscale Chinese restaurant. The typical fair, plus a very high quality sushi menu if that's your sort of thing. Come for the food, stay for everything else.

Amazing food and beautiful interior. They have so much to offer, the typical Chinese food but then they also have an entire sushi menu (which by the way is fabulous, try as many as you can)! The portions were huge but the food is so good you'll want to take it. and there is always enough to share. Plus the service is great, but there might be a wait on the weekends so its best to call.

Ehh this is the kind of place you either Love or Hate and i HATE it . I always go or get delivery and it sucks. But every-time i go to the bank which is located next door it smells good and im like ohh i'll try it again. Bu then it sucks. It always has no flavor to it and the chicen wings are the only ok thing about the place

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
